Mike is CEO of Spread Love Consulting, where he connects nonprofits with corporate partners by thinking differently. Companies want to support your mission, but they're also fueled by "what's in it for me", so Mike creates a unique value proposition that speaks directly to them.

 

Leveraging over 20 years of sponsorship experience, Mike has been responsible for tens of millions in sponsorship revenue. An innovator who takes pride in seeing all the angles, Mike has connected nonprofits like the Alzheimer's Association to Code/Art to Super Soul Party with companies like Hanes, Lowe's and Florida Power and Light, and the result has impacted so many.

Prior to Spread Love Consulting, Mike held various positions at PSP Sports, the nation’s largest sports publishing network, most recently serving as the company’s first-ever Chief Revenue Officer. Mike received his B.A. from Wake Forest University.

 

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY during hip-hop's Golden Era, Mike has always lived the mantra, “spread love, it's the Brooklyn way,” spawning the name of the company. Mike currently lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife, two children and rescue dog.

Assessing your current sponsorship strategy.

We perform a complete assessment of your current sponsorship program by looking at your asset list, including all your current programs and signature events. From there we identify specific opportunities for growth and develop the strategy to marry them with the right corporate partners.

Finding fresh angles.

Personal connections run dry. We find fresh angles and identify new verticals never thought possible. We do this by leveraging over two decades of institutional knowledge of industries ranging from: Agriculture, Big Tech, CPG, DEI, Government, Higher Education, Oil and Energy, Retail, Sustainability. 

Customizing your approach and building a specific value proposition for each corporate partner.

One size never fits all. Nonprofits need to customize their sponsorship approach, so we help build a value proposition for each prospective corporate partner, allowing you to leverage your specific asset list, cast a wider net, think bigger and act bolder. 

 

We’ll also help recreate your promotional deck to align with our new strategy with fresh angles, making your sponsorship program even more relevant to any and every target.

Navigating major corporations is hard and can be intimidating, but we have well over 20 years of experience in finding the proper contacts at any company across virtually any industry, sector and local market. Developing a new strategy, finding fresh angles and new verticals, building a value proposition to the right person at the right company is magic. We make magic​ happen.

"Our board should be more engaged" - We hear it all the time. Most board members want to help, but often don't know how. We help board members leverage their existing connections and provide the strategy so they can act.
